This study aims to determine the factors influencing Islamic banks customers (IBC) intention to use Islamic home financing (IHFA). Researchers have modified Theory of planned behavior (TPB) in explaining (IHFA). Further, the interacting effect of government support (GS) is tested in between TPB and IHFA. Data was collected from 250 (IBC) in Lahore. Researchers have used multiple regressions to test direct relationship. Next interaction term was added to test the moderation. This study finds that attitude (ATT), subjective norms (SN), perceived behavior control (PBC), price of home financing (PHF) and religious obligation (RO) are instrumental in determining the IHFA. Moreover, the presence of GS has strengthened the relationship between TPB and IHFA. This study is pioneer effort in applying GS as a moderator on the TPB in the context of (IHFA) in Pakistan.
