AI and Generative Tools Policy

At PJETS, we acknowledge the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT in academic research.

Acceptable Use: Authors may utilize AI tools for language refinement, grammar correction, reference formatting, and generating code snippets—provided their use is transparent and verifiable. Importantly, AI-generated content must remain under 19%.

Unacceptable Use: AI tools must not fabricate data, analyses, images, or citations; replace critical scholarly input (e.g., idea generation, interpretation, conclusions); or bypass ethical and authorship standards.

Disclosure: Any AI usage must be explicitly declared in the Acknowledgments section (e.g., “This manuscript used ChatGPT for language editing only”). Authors retain full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work. All manuscripts exceeding the AI content threshold will be returned for revision.
